BabyGoRound has reached an exciting phase of its lifecycle as we transition our Organization from the start-up stage to a growth phase where BabyGoRound scales up its model and not only delivers on its mission of allowing for more families to be served, having these families fully serviced and serving more communities, but also increasing the benefits of its program and its ultimate reach and impact. We were recently awarded a scaled funding grant from Social Venture Partners, a venture philanthropic organization, to assume a full time leadership model and we are looking for an experienced Executive Director to lead our Organization through these exciting phases.
The Executive Director is responsible for the Organization’s consistent achievement of its mission, vision, strategic plans and financial objectives.The ideal candidate is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of babies, families and children across the Lower Mainland. An entrepreneurial mindset, being able to work with creativity, resourcefulness and innovation, and an eye for scaleability will be key advantages.
Necessary personal attributes and skills:
Demonstrated ability to lead an organization;
Compassionate personality with strong boundaries to allow the program to operate with integrity;
Ability to interact well with people from different cultures, income levels and diverse backgrounds;
Ability to execute against a strategy and realize organizational goals; and
Previous Executive Director or similar leadership and management experience.
Scope & Accountability
This role reports to the Board of Directors and is accountable for achieving annual goals and objectives and working with the Board, staff and volunteers to develop and implement BabyGoRound’s strategic plan.
